Although my partner and I have not moved in yet or even been approved, our tour with Cecily went very smoothly and she made us feel very invited. The tours were quick but thorough and she was able to answer all our questions in the meantime. She was very helpful with the application process and helped with any questions we might’ve had during the process of applying. I’m hoping the living lifestyle is just as good as our first look and impression.
Alira is a beautiful apartment complex but if you have an issue like a rats or mice leaving droppings in your bed and urine on your counter tops AND you have given Alira over 30 days to remedy the issue AND you have to deal with unprofessional management (Tyler specifically), the beauty fades quickly. Tyler may be a wonderful person to deal with when things are going well, but you definitely do not want to deal with him with under our set of circumstances. In addition, Tyler asked us to pay an additional $750 to move us into another apartment. Further, Tyler expects us to pay for moving and decontamination expenses. Did I mention that our key fob has not worked since November, the entire time that we have occupied the residence? Alira should be ashamed of how our situation is being handled and even more ashamed to have an employee like Tyler. Tyler is giving the place a bad name!
This one is for Tyler, probably the most professional leasing office manager I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Without going into personal detail, Tyler helped me with an incredibly problematic situation in a friendly, easy, and efficient manner. He really helps you as a friend and is not afraid of going the extra mile.
Alira is also of the most beautiful properties one can look at. The pool is nice, maintenance staff is incredibly friendly, and lounge is gorgeous.
I recently moved in to Alira apartments and I love it. Ashley was very helpful during my application process and tour of units. Ashley is professional, answered all my questions. Rowen also assisted at the time. On my move in date, Rowen was super helpful, provided all the necessary information. Rowen is professional, knowledgeable, kind and always ready to assist. Also, i had a tour with Rowen, to all the amenities available.
Tyler was also readily available and assited with minor issues i had on second day after moving in. Thank you so much team Alira! I'm happy and excited about my new place.
Girlfriend has lived here for a few leases and cannot wait to move out.
Merits to the one star review:
-elevator has broken multiple times
-new fees in addition to rent hikes
-management removed carpet at building entrances and exits, replaced with cheap wood floor that is dangerously slippery when wet
-stairways reek of pot/cigarette smoke, sometimes reek of animal urine/feces.
-emails about vehicle break-ins yet security patrol is never around
-gates constantly breaking
-homeless going through trash
-unusable amenities - hammocks are rarely setup, grills are hard to get access to, party room has to be rented for an insane rate per hour, pool overcrowded with non-residents in summer
-loud vehicles revving engines
-dog poop
-did I mention dog poop
-paper-thin ceilings and walls - can hear the neighbors above and surrounding, lawn service/leaf blowers
-excessive trash/litter in the parking lot
Girlfriend does not plan to renew lease with Alira “Luxury” when it ends in the summer.
